I can't tell you how much I adore this idea, it came about after one of my pregnant ladies was leaving and her partner arrived to meet her, we had a brief chat about how they were both feeling...I wished we had all had more time to talk, he was so lovely! So I now give you a simple and holistic ceremony to get the mind and spirit ready for your birthing journey...and guess what? Bring your birthing partner too if you choose. Come together and connect :-) Each session will be personal and different. We will have a chat over a cup of tea to get a feel for your pregnancy journey so far and the up and coming labour. Then we will together agree on a process that might involve some cleansing with incense and sage, some visualisation/mediation time preparing you (both) burning of what you'd like to let go of (fears) and welcome in and prayers for the future...for you as a mother and as parents together. Please don't let the the above hold anyone back, mothers tend to be more open to this type of connecting time but, if you know Zen Den you will know that we are all about Zen Den for Men. We encourage down time for you too! Please embrace this beautiful pre-birth opportunity together.
