I consider myself to be a gentle, instinctive healer. I’ve worked in hotels and spas but, wanted to move away from ‘beauty’ and focus on massages and healing. And I knew Zen Den was the perfect space as it fits my ethos.

I am qualified in massage, reflexology, deep tissue massage, pregnancy massage, facials, manicures, pedicures, hotstone massage, indian head massage and hotstone reflexology. I look forward to meeting and treating you all on my new venture in Zen Den under my own business, Timeless Tranquility

MAXINE O'BRIEN

Sex & Relationship Therapist

I am a counsellor and psychotherapist specialising in sex and relationship therapy, offering a warm, inclusive, and non-judgemental space for adults and couples.

My practice is firmly sex-positive and affirmative.  support clients with a range of sexual and relational concerns, including difficulties with desire, intimacy, communication, mismatched libido, relationship transitions, infidelity, sexual confidence, and navigating life changes. My work is trauma-informed and collaborative, recognising the impact of past experiences on present relationships and sexual wellbeing.

Alongside private practice, I am committed to increasing access to ethical, affordable counselling and am involved in developing community-based mental health services. I believe sex and relationship therapy should be a space for curiosity, compassion, and empowerment — not judgement or pressure to “fix” yourself.

Maxine will be working with Sam this year to create Couples Retreats in The Cotswolds (first one in March) and to collaborate also on workshops for females building body positivity. Watch this space!
